A Japanese pair of cloisonné vases of extraordinary quality and finesse with a polychrome miniature decoration held by a silver thread of different thicknesses, from the thinnest to the thickest, which frames the four-lobed reserves.
The shape is classic and elegant with a circular base and elongated rounded body depicting dragons, phoenixes, and butterflies within reserves with shields and lozenges enriched by a floral garden with chrysanthemums. The upper part is decorated with palmettes and geometric motifs.
The enamel colors are unique and rare in shades of salmon, turquoise, orange, yellow, brown, green, grey, and dove grey on a midnight blue background with details in crushed aventurine stone to give an effect of enchanting shine.
